Senators Amy Klobuchar and Norm Coleman both against auto bailout.

"After listening to their testimony I think a lot of questions have been raised about the financial standing of the companies going forward. And I'm very concerned that the current packages planned would be nothing more than a temporary fix," Klobuchar said.

Senator Norm Coleman, R-Minn., came out against the plan earlier this week.
======================================

The point of lending money to the automobile companies would be to help them get through the recession. It's supposed to be a "temporary fix" until consumers have more confidence and will buy more cars.

Klobuchar and Coleman both voted for the Wall Street bailout. The CEOs of the Wall Street firms didn't have to testify to Congress before the bill was passed to prove that they have good business plans.

1. Wow! Amy Klobuchar may surprise all of us and jump ship to the R's before Sen. Landrieau.
Not exactly blue in many of her words and votes.

2. She needs to be hammered about this the way she was about her first FISA vote
she did get the message that time.

3. Klobuchar has been a disappointment since the beginning
Hopefully someone within the party will challenge and take her spot on the ticket. At the rate she is going, it will be pretty easy to truthfully paint her as a Dino.
