Message from MoveOn regarding Al Franken's Count My Vote Video
Dear MoveOn member,

We've just heard from Al Franken's campaign that their internal analysis, assuming that all the challenges will be overruled by the State Canvassing Board, shows Franken with a narrow lead in the Senate race

Over the past few days, it has become clear that hundreds—perhaps thousands—of Minnesotans haven't had their votes counted. They voted absentee, but their ballots were improperly rejected. Unfortunately, Norm Coleman, like George Bush in Florida in 2000, is trying to disenfranchise voters.

Franken's motto is simple: Count every vote. And the campaign has an amazing new web video telling the stories of a few Minnesotans whose votes haven't been counted. To watch the video, and send Al Franken a message of support:

If you can, make a contribution to the recount fund while you're on Franken's web site.

Electing Al Franken won't just take back Paul Wellstone's seat and get us one vote closer to passing Barack Obama's agenda. It will mean sending to the Senate someone who is a voice for Minnesota's working families, a steadfast progressive who is ready to fight for every voter, both during this recount and when he gets to Washington. Let's let Al know we've got his back.

Thanks.

–Adam, Carrie, Matt, Wes and the rest of the team

1. Al Franken should sue Ramsey County.
One of the few counties which refuses to sort their Rejected Absentee Ballots (decision of Ramsey County Elections Manager Joe Mansky), and one of the counties where Franken did the best on Election Night.
