If you are frustrated by your WARD DFL please kick.
I've been in Ward 12 for 5 years and been through 2 presidential elections and 2 City Conventions.
I have worked on campaigns and been on committees to try and work through the system of the DFL party.
I have found it to be like in high school. Very cliquey, and I don't know whether I should say it is manipulative or tricky.. I no longer have any faith in the DFL endorcement because in these 5 years have seen not the best person win but the core have their own elected. It is like a bunch of people more concerned with their little power trips than the democratic processes.

It has been hard enough dealing with some strange people and some real bizarre behavior when I have just been trying to be part of the democratic process. During each of the organizing of the conventions i have worked with some others new to the process that they have been so turned off by the manipulation and power trips that they either quick mainstream or said they would never do it again. Some didn't even show up for the convention.

I was told by a couple of DFL people who are active in St. Paul and they said that Minneapolis seems to be the worst at including different types of voters and new people and they see Minneapolis losing more and more people in the DFL party.

So, I ask if you have been frustrated by your WARD or even Precinct people kick here and if you can mention what WARD it is.

1. I didn't even know there was a caucus until about an hour before the time
and that was because someone mentioned it on DU. Minneapolis Ward 13.

In 2004, attendance skyrocketed, packing the Lake Harriet Lower School cafeteria. The previous year, only 42 people had attended, and the usual attendees tried to steer everyone into voting for Kerry.

In 2008, I was under a job deadline and couldn't stay after I cast my ballot.
