How about District 6 boycott till Bachman is recalled ?

Not sure if that works in MN but why not try. I love going to Stillwater, but I could boycott it till Bachman is out.

I believe a majority of the people in the 6th district voted against her, those independent candidates bit us in the butt.

Unemployment at least in Stearns County is higher than the state average and nearly 10%. Foreclosure rates in Sherburne county and Wright County are either the highest or nearly highest in the state. We don't need anymore financial pain.

It might be better to start donating to the 6th district DFL, contacting state leaders in the DFL to get a truly strong candidate to oppose her (something that will be difficult as most people think the district will disappear after the next census.) Or write letters to the editor and start replying with facts to the right wing bloggers on the St. Cloud Times online website.

Remember, many of us worked REALLY hard to defeat her. I personally knocked on close to 1000 doors, and made as many or more phone calls.

I get really tired of the "How could THOSE people elect her?"

I come from a very conservative area of CA that has many officials that are far worse than Bachman.

so I understand how hard you and many other DFL'ers work. Maybe the DFL party needs to demand she stepdown.

And I would bet that many of the "business owners" are Republican.. not all of course, but many.

at least for a federal officer holder. The 6th District (and the rest of us) is pretty much stuck.

I go there because my parents live there, what I want to know is, how do I boycott an entire congressional district?

Boycotting the 6th district won't make a damned bit of difference because Bachmann has already boycotted this district. We get very little of our tax money back from the feds and she votes against her constituents most every time. We have the highest forclosure rate in the state. So your solution is to punish this district more by putting more people out of business and their homes? nice...........

If you are so concerned about getting Bachmann out of office then the way to get her out of office is to get off your ass and come here and help us defeat her. Door knock, phone bank, support us when the election cycle begins!

Bachmann didn't get near 50% of the vote, in fact the third party candidate took 10%. We need only 4% of that 10% to defeat her. Put your money where your mouth is and donate to the DFL CD6 or if you can't afford that, come here and help.

and Yes, I understand she has abandoned 6ths district, just like Kline has abandoned his.. but they still get paid.


Busy enough trying down here trying to keep our area from becoming more conservative.

Maybe when someone commits a some type of hate act from being inspired by Bachman's words,, then they might do something to censure her.

Otherwise I guess she is an asset for the Democrats and DFL party
