So I'm working from home and have AM 950 on and at every news break
they're announcing that Amy Klobuchar says "more compromise" is needed on the health care debate. The statement is not being elaborated on so I can only assume that Klobuchar means the Republicans need to compromise - surely she can't mean the Democrats should do more to sell us out. :sarcasm:

1. I hope she gets an earful tonight

Enough compromise. Get the job done.

2. Hey, someone has to step up to the plate
and represent the right wingers now that Normie isn't there. I have never doubted Klobuchar's willingness to do just that. The only question that remains is how many times Al and Amy will trip over each other in their mad dash to veer to the right. While we don't know who will win that race, we do know who loses. The people of MN, of course.

Then again, after 6 years of Normie, we're used to it.

3. She's not on the HELP committee or the Finance Committee.
She'll probably vote for whatever the majority of Democrats vote for regarding a health care reform bill this year.

9. I haven't heard that
If it's true, she must be delusional. (And, she'd have to move left to be a moderate).
