This month marks the 7th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, while the 9 year war on the people of Afghanistan is escalating. If you would like to raise the level of protest against these unjust wars, this meeting is for you. Bring your questions, concerns, ideas, and friends to a workshop on civil disobedience and direct action. The Anti-War Committee has initiated day of action in late April. Come learn how you or your group can take part.

1. No offense, but are you trying to be invisible?
That's a perfect route for not being noticed.

Why not in front of a TV station or the Strib offices?

2. I'm not one of the organizers, so I don't know the decisions
But I can tell you.. we have had protest, rallies and marches in front of their buildings and they still don't report it.. so it doesn't seem to matter.
In fact one of the last protests walked right in front of Kare 11 and through the sky ways.. over 100 with bright colored banners and many signs. Not one mention on any of the network news channels.

3. We have to get more people in the streets to end these wars!
Did you see where Mayor Daley actually asked where were all the anti-war demonstrators?? He's tired of sending all that money to the Middle East when we obviously need it here.

4. If they're marching on the West Bank to an indoor rally
of course they're invisible.
