Helen Thomas in Minneapolis tomorrow (Friday, Nov 5)
This is short notice, but I just found the announcement from the DFL in my email tonight:

Dear DFLer,

As we approach the end of a difficult week and a hard-fought election, the DFL Party invites you to meet veteran White House correspondent and Bush critic, Helen Thomas. Helen has graciously agreed to join us for a post-election discussion. Bring your questions and your insights for her.

Commonly referred to as “The First Lady of the Press,” former White House Bureau Chief Helen Thomas is a trailblazer, breaking through barriers for women reporters while covering every President since John F. Kennedy. For 57 years, Helen also served as White House correspondent for United Press International. Helen recently left this post and joined Hearst Newspapers as a syndicated columnist. Recently, she made headlines of her own by referring to George W. Bush as the "worst President ever."

Helen will also speak at a sold-out event for Women Venture while in Minnesota.
