Senator Klobuchar
I attended a function this evening and Amy was the keynote speaker. She stated she wants the bush tax cuts ceiling to be one million dollars instead of the $250,000 that Obama wants.

She also discussed all the partisan politics going on in Washington and several times stated that the left has MSNBC and the right has Fox. I wanted to scream at her that at least Rachael and Olberman use facts instead of lies.

I did get a chance to tell her on her way out to make sure Social Security isn't tampered with. She said if the tax cuts are raised to a million dollars they won't be messing with Social Security. I told her I didn't believe her.

recommendations should be given an "up or down vote" (and no doubt a voice vote as well). I've tried to get answers from her office about where she is on raising the retirement age and/or cutting benefits but the only non-response response they'll give you is that she's against privatization.

Of course, she'll have a couple nice government pensions so this really isn't something she needs to worry about.

3. Disturbing that she used the MSNBC vs. Fox mantra. The non-thinking person's position.

6. shameful she said the Left as MSNBC.... what a crock.
I really hope someone in DFL or a new FL runs against her.

She is beyond a disappointment. I new she was going to be moderate but I didn't know she was going to be a BLUE DOG.
