Mark Kennedy's office just lied to me

To get some info for my blog, I just called Mark Kennedy's DC office. And they told me that there was no vote on the DeLay Rule (read TPM if you're confused).

Gosh. That's very interesting, seeing how I called John Kline's office last night and was told that he had cast a vote on the rule.

because there was no record of it....it was a voice vote.

Call Mark Kennedy back and ask him again.

I'll be sure to inform his staffers that he seems to be accusing every other Minnesota Republican of lying, as they have all said they either cast a vote or were not present for the vote that did take place.

3. They had a republican closed door caucus meeting

and approved the rule change (which was a republican only rule,
democrats have their own set of committee chairperson ethics
rules) by voice vote.

6. After two days of dogging people

Ramstad sent out an email today saying he was one of a handful that voted against the rule change.

Now they are going to sow what they wrought (or something like that).
