Hillary Clinton will be the keynote speaker at the DFL's
Humphrey Day Dinner April 9.

I believe it's being held at the Minneapolis Hilton. No doubt details may be found at http://www.dfl.org

I'm assuming it will be out of my price range and even if it weren't, I don't think I'd go to hear Senator Clinton.

2. My first DFL volunteer job was at the Humphrey dinner in 1988
I think Jesse Jackson was the keynote that year, but I'm not positive. The highlight of the event for me was when another Young DFLer and I got to take a cooler to the 'green room'. Right as we walked in, there's Walter Mondale, waiting to give his intro speech.

yeah, that was cool :)
