Counter-demonstration planned for 'Mayday for Marriage' crap-fest
I posted this yesterday on the Kansas list and then it occurred to me that folks from the Missouri side might be interested in attending this as well. Cheers!

On April 5 Kansans will be deciding the fate of the anti-gay "Protect Marriage Amendment." The Sunday before the election (April 3) a group of radical fundamentalist ministers and other right-wing extremists will hold a "Mayday for Marriage" event at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, from 4-5:30 p.m.

To counter the message of hate, all those involved in seeking social justice are invited to attend a peaceful demonstration in front of Memorial Hall beginning at about 3:30 p.m. (Bring signs if you have them.)

1. I will pass this on to anyone who is interested in it.
I already know that I can't make it(I am scheduled for work that evening), otherwise I would make an effort to be there!
