voting equipment in St. Louis County - meeting 21 November
Edited on Wed Nov-16-05 11:13 AM by nickinSTL
St. Louis County is having a public meeting Monday, November 21, to discuss the RFPs for providing new voting equipment in the county.

Among the companies who have provided RFPs are Diebold, ES&S and Sequoia, all of which I've heard of from DU. The other 2 companies are Accupoll and Populex.

St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners will meet on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 7:00 pm to take public comments on the RFP for new voting equipment. The meeting will be held in the Jury Assembly Room, 6th Floor of the Courts Building, 7900 Carondelet, Clayton, Missouri.

Persons desiring to speak at that meeting shall complete a Speaker Card prior to the meeting. Cards will be available beginning at 6:45 pm. Depending on the time available and the number of persons signing up prior to 7:00 pm, persons who do not sign-up prior to 7:00 pm may be given an opportunity to speak.

1. Nick, are any activists working specifically on this issue in MO?
VoteTrustUSA has been looking for knowledgeable election integrity leaders in your state and has been unable to find anyone. If you've been working on this yourself or know anyone who is, please PM me.

Thanks!

2. I don't know of anyone
I just ran across this looking at the St. Louis County website.

I thought anyone in St. Louis County might want to know.

3. Good luck.
The election board on our side of the state has been less than responsive to public comment.
