Term limits found unconstitutional 27 Feb 1996, there are'nt any limits, there goes that idea.

We had a local rep here I liked who told me a year ago her term limit was up so she couldn't run again.

my State Rep is running for county council this year due to term limits (I'd much rather see her stay in the legislature)

Is this court decision just for federal reps?

3. There are lots of unconstitutional laws
There may be an opinion that the law is unconstitutional, but the law still stands.
Representatives and Senators in Missouri are limited to 4 terms.

There is some latitude there, but terms limits stand. In fact, that is why we have such a mess here now.
