Flathead County featured in PBS documentary

KALISPELL - Patrice O'Neill came to the Flathead Valley to film what she called a "straightforward story," a story about a militia cell with alleged plans to assassinate cops, judges and prosecutors.

But the story, she found, was anything but straightforward. Rather, it was wrapped in complications and historical context, a far more messy story about racism and intimidation, about loggers and environmentalists and wildfire, about disintegrating civil discourse and about a small town with big growing pains.

2. Ravalli county made PBS a few years ago

with the wackos we have down here. At least they don't support bush.
