Nelson nears $4 million for Senate bid

Sen. Ben Nelson entered 2006 with nearly $3.2 million in cash on hand for his re-election campaign.

All told, the Democratic senator has raised nearly $3.9 million as he prepares to seek a second term.

Although he has not yet formally announced his candidacy for re-election, his aggressive fund-raising continued in the last three months of 2005.

Nelson raised $708,000 from October through December, according to a campaign finance report filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission

2. He's probably in the pocket of every corporation

in NE and alot outside of NE. I don't want proof, I'm convinced that is true. I loathe that schmuck. He's completely worthless on issues that matter to me. I still can't decide whether or not to vote for him.

3. Why would you? He is the one democrat, the absolute worst,

that it doesn't matter what his party affiliation is SUPPOSED to be, he's going to vote republican without fail. Why not just get it over and elect one that doesn't lie about which party he supports?

6. Pat Robertson

Ben Nelson gave an interview with Pat Robertson. Why would he do that? Pat is one of the worst lunatics in this country. I can't honestly vote for Nelson. In the interview he talked about how much he liked Bush. I am on the verge of writing my own name in.

I've been thinking the same thing. We need to stick together and show the NE Dem party that we DO NOT support this sh!tbag. How embarrassing would it be to "win" the primary election by a 50% vote? I would laugh my ass off. We need to figure out a way to get out the word for everyone who does not support Benji to "write in".

9. We need to form a PAC 'Nebraska Dems Against Ben Nelson'.

Doesn't matter who we vote in. Put two people in who call themselves republicans. At least there won't be a liar running from the Dem party.
