BELVIDERE (Feb. 1, 2005) - Warren County Democratic Committee Chairman Roger
Hines has announced that Katherine Blok, a former reporter and columnist for
The Express-Times, has been named the new Executive Director of the Warren
County Democratic Party.

"For three years, Kate covered Warren County politics with fairness,
integrity and grace," said Hines. "I am confident that her knowledge and experience as
a reporter in Warren County will serve all residents of the county well. Kate
will help lead our county organization into the future with a new strategy
and fresh ideas. Democrats in Warren are committed to ensuring that more
Democratic voices from our region are heard in county, state and federal government.
Kate will help us achieve that goal."

I don't know why this excites me so much, but I am mentioned, not by name, but by title in a press release (perhaps the first one ever from the Warren County Democrats) on PoliticsNJ!

Jackson brunch will be on Saturday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m. at
the Mine Brook Golf Club in Hackettstown. Special guest:
