1. When I went to the Titanic exhibit about 6 years ago, the package

included a room so we stayed overnight in Atlantic City. Walking around through the slots room, I couldn't get over how the place stunk to high heavens from smoke!

Jeez.

2. I don't get to A.C. much -- I'm more concerned with local bars
so I have less problems looking for work in 'em. :)

AND listening to live music there.

3. Ohhhh - So Glad You Are SO Happy
I am so sick and tired of you non-smokers thinking it is perfectly allright to infringe on smokers. Instead of suggesting maybe a separate room would be nice for smokers who gamble, you just say screw them all. Do you realize the amount of business the casinos are going to lose?

You should be ALOT more concerned about mercury in the fish you eat or the poorest air quality on the east coast, but no - smokers are easy game.

Boo hoo . . . .

:smoke:

4. Smokers are fair game because Non-Smokers have rights to a smoke-free
Workplace -- all workers, not just those who can afford to be choosy about what jobs they take or where they work.

5. It's about time. The gaming rooms there reek.
Vegas is not nearly as bad. Neither is Mohegan Sun. You could walk around the slots in any AC casino and never be more than 10 feet from a lit cigarette.

6. I've heard Vegas casinos have ventilation systems so good
you can be next to someone smoking a cigarette and not smell it. Has anyone actually experienced this?

7. I wouldn't take it that far...
…but I've been to several of the newer casinos in Las Vegas, and there's no smoky haze when you walk in.

On the old strip, things can vary based on the age and size of the joint.
