HACKETTSTOWN -- U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine told 150 Democratic supporters Saturday he will focus on budget cuts, health care and ethics in his run for New Jersey governor.

During his 15-minute remarks at the Mine Brook Golf Club on Route 57, Corzine joked he didn't know there were that many Democrats in Warren County.

"I need your help out here," he said. "I need a lot of help actually. I saw the numbers from 2000 -- they weren't that groovy actually."

Corzine vowed to campaign throughout the state, even in traditionally Republican strongholds such as Warren County.
