Anybody else see F911 in Hackettstown?
Surprised me it played at all....but there was a full house late Sunday afternoon when my wife and I saw it AND a line waiting to see it when we came out.

My wife asked the box office kid and he said almost all the Sunday business had been for 911.

Also, she's generally a-political and doesn't like me discussing politics in public...but she turned to me as we were going in and said "You should have worn your DU t-shirt."

You shoulda wore your "I am Bob Boudalang's Daddy" t-shirt! :D

A friend of mine saw it in H'town. Two screens running flat out and sold out all weekend.

On edit: Do you have ANY idea how friggin' weird it is to see the word "Hackettstown" on the DU latest threads page? Whuh...

4. I Have Fond Memories of Hackettstown
I grew up in Morris Township, outside Morristown. We would drive through Hackettstown going to Pennsylvania on our annual "look-at-the leaves" drive in early October. And I spent a few summer weeks at Camp Allamuchy, which is not far away.

Finally, my Scoutmaster worked for M&M/Mars. Guess what he'd bring along on camping trips? :-)

5. Nice little town...
and it's supposed to be staunchly Republican...but we had standing room only at 5 pm Sunday, with a line waiting to get in the 7:30 pm show....

10. Many Times
I grew up in Morristown, and every summer my church's CYO would have a bus trip to Seaside Heights. I went to Sandy Hook a lot, and Long Beach Island.

And when I went to the shore with my father's family (who lived in Buena and Minatola), we'd go to Margate, near Lucy the Elephant.

9. f-911 in Mansfield on the 4th of July
somebody yelled "BOOOOSH" as the credits began to roll, I couldn't figure out if he was pissed at Bush or yelling the name as a supporter. I didn't think about yelling "KERRYYY" until I was in my car.

anyway, it was a 2:20 show on the Fourth of July and it was more than half full!

Go Michael Moore!
