Gas prices 6/6/2008

The owner at the place where I gas up (Delta, near Edison) told me that the price-per-gallon will go up $.25 or more this weekend. Want to bet that it won't go down soon?

Get after Goldman Sachs, who controls 30% of the oil supplies and has analysts who make pricing predictions that immediately drive up the price. Something does not sound kosh about that.

Nothing is more silly than hearing the conventional wisdom that gas prices are primarily driven by global demand and supply risk. When the King of Saudi Arabia is more candid than our national leaders...you should raise an eyebrow.
