This cross was found on the Grewal family's property.A unity march will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday in response to the cross-burning incident Thursday outside a Hardwick Township home.

The march will begin at the township municipal building at 40 Spring Valley Road and proceed to the Millbrook Road home of Alina and Gary Grewal. Alina Grewal said efforts are under way to line up speakers for a gathering outside her home.

Racists stole a banner celebrating President-elect Barack Obama's victory from the front lawn of the Grewal home on Election Day. They returned two days later with a cross wrapped in the banner and set it ablaze on the front lawn.

New Jersey State Police are investigating the incident and no arrests have been reported.

The march is being organized by local residents with the help of township Mayor Kevin Duffy.
