Are there DUers in all 21 Counties?
Can you name the counties? How about in alpabetical order...There are only 21. Be happy you don't live in a big red state like Texas (for many reasons), you'd never be able to remember all the county names.

Edited on Tue Apr-20-04 02:56 PM by CO Liberal
...and I don't know them all. But let me try to remember those in the Garden State (land of my birth):

Sussex
Hunterdon
Morris
Essex
Bergen
Union
Somerset
Middlesex
Mercer
Camden
Gloucester
Salem
Atlantic
Cape May
Hudson

(I had to look at a map to get the rest...)

Burlington
Cumberland
Warren
Passaic
Ocean
Monmouth

I want Rush Holt to be my Senator some day.

Hell, why think small? I wish he were President. Unfortunately that's unlikely to happen, as there is a huge groundswell for stupidity in this country.

26. Union County Also . . . .
Westfield, to be exact. A cesspool of Repukes (alot of old money in this town).

Has anyone noticed the so called "election results" posted outside Spanish Tavern on Route 22 in Mountainside?? They must be joking! The last time I looked at it, it was something like 60-something percent Shrub, 30-something percent Kerry. Even with all the pukes in my area, I find it hard to believe they could be so stupid.

51. Hi Berkeley Township...Soon to be Cumberland Now
Originally from Ocean (but too RED, why I moved), lived in Middlesex, too expensive and crowded but all in all there were no eggs thrown at my Kerry car, refused to live in Cape May (for RED reasons) even though we were having a house built there, and just sold it without even living there. I lived in New Jersey all of my life. Will only live in a Blue County now, for obvious reasons. In case anyone wants the list of Blue (majortiy voted Democratic), here goes, directly from CNN:

BLUE COUNTIES
Atlantic
Camden
Burlington
Gloucester
Cumberland
Mercer
Middlesex
Union
Essex
Hudson
Bergen
Passaic

The RED Counties (If you live here, I'm sorry to hear it...anything I can do to help you move or help you help others (REDnecks) to leave, let me know)
Salem
Cape May
Ocean
Monmouth
Somerset
Morris
Hunterdon
Warren
Sussex

If you live in Sussex, I'm really sorry, but I told someone on the NJ.com site, in the White House Race message board to move there and screw farm animals all day when they said that Hudson and Essex Counties were a pit of hell, and they were going to move to Sussex County where there were no Democrats. Someone else said that South Jersey was a sesspool, except for Cape May County. I told them if they were so smart, why didn't they even have a real community college (now they have a partnership with Atlantic County for Atlantic Cape Community College, before it was just Atlantic Community College, ACC)? Wanna make a difference? Go to NJ.com (the Star-Ledger site) and tell some of these right-wing nut jobs to get out of New Jersey once and for all.

59. Monmouth is definitely mixed
It is really town by town, blue, red or purple. We won the 12th district six years ago. We're now starting to work on the 4th. It can go blue with continued effort. The county government is extremely entrenched (20+ years). So are a lot of the town governments in places that have actually gone purple or even blue.

I treat it as mildly blue, and am just waiting for reality to catch up with me.
