Bob Ney Donated Money to Heather Wilson (and Steve Pearce)

Eyewitness News 4 has learned that an Ohio congressman who admitted to illegally taking money from a lobbyist has donated money to two New Mexico congressional campaigns.

Bob Ney on Friday admitted to taking the money from Jack Abramoff, who pleaded guilty in January to tax fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy to bribe public officials, according to KOBTV.com partner MSNBC.com.

Ney’s committee gave money to the congressional campaigns for Heather Wilson and Steve Pearce. It’s not clear if any of that money was from Abramoff.

Wilson says her campaign is donating the money to charity, while Pearce’s campaign says the money was donated before Ney met Abramoff, so he’s not inclined to return the money.

That guys been under investigation for a year. So NOW that he pleads guilty, she's donating it?

Wilson's handlers are currently trying to soften Wilson's connections to
Ney.

Abramoff/Ney were clearly involved in a coup to undermine American Democracy.

IIRC, Wilson also holds the 2004 record in the house for accepting donations from corporations connected to the pornography industry. Her performance after the Janet Jackson super bowl incident was pure theater.
