DMV - why are my tax dollars paying to include advertisements in the
envelope that contains my vehicle registration renewal notice?

There were four small flyers/ads in my envelope - one for DirecTV, one for Geico insurance, one for Sirius radio, and one for Ford. Do you think NYS makes money off of these and that it's a benefit to consumers?

It just pissed me off. More crap for me to throw away, and absolutely uncalled for.
