Please help put an end to American Horse Slaughter

I am cross posting this, because today is New York day for faxing and calling our Senators.

Please contact (please fax and call) Senator Hillary Clinton and ask her to please co-sponsor S-1915 the bill to amend the Horse Protection Act and /stop/ the horse slaughter in the US for human consumption. Senator Schumer is already a co-sponsor, please thank him.

But I have to say that, after several years, I can't believe that we're still working on this! Nobody supports the slaughter of horses, so why is it taking long?! But I continue to support this, have been since I first heard about it in 2003, and I'm sure still on board with this... Let's hope that more people see this and take action so we can get this thing passed! BTW, my Freeper congressman co-sponsored this in the House, so nobody has an excuse. I'll contact Sen. Clinton again.:-)

As for the ban on horse slaughter, we have "elected" officials sabotaging the American people's will. One in particular atm is Junior Senator Cornyn of Texas.

Sorry that I'm late on this, but consider it done. I also belong to another forum, so I'll post this there, too. We are so damn close on this and I recently found out that my Freeper congressman is co-sponsor of this bill... We just have to get it done. *sigh*
