WROC/Rochester rumored to be dropping progressive talk
A few blogs are buzzing about the fate of Rochester's progressive talk station WROC (950AM). Word has it that come August 1, the plug will be pulled and a new format installed.

1. Someone mentioned that on
the Stephanie Miller live blog today. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm surprised. I thought something was up when they had The Randi Rhodes show during drive time and they didn't pick up Randi Rhodes when she left Air America and decided to stick with the god awful "Air America Afternoons". Also, it doesn't help that the station does no ads to promote the progressive shows.
