Progressive Patriots Fund Contest
I am not sure how many have seen this but I thought I would post something on it. Russ Feingold's Leadership PAC is doing a contest where the person with the most votes will get a donation of $5000. There is a North Carolina candidate listed and I thought you might like to vote for him. Here is the information:

Senator Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriots Fund wants your help identifying a Congressional challenger to support in the upcoming 2006 elections. The candidate chosen by the grassroots as a Progressive Patriot will receive a $5000 contribution from the Progressive Patriots Fund. These candidates were selected by you through the candidate suggestion form, and we hope to do more of these events in the future. Please vote for the candidate of your choice, and encourage your friends to do the same. Be sure to check back on Thursday, December 15 to see who won!

Francine Busby (CA-50)
Chris Carney (PA-10)
John Courage (TX-21)
Brad Ellsworth (IN-08)
Nick Lampson (TX-22)
Patricia Madrid (NM-01)
Lois Murphy (PA-06)
Coleen Rowley (MN-02)
Heath Shuler (NC-11)
Tim Walz (MN-01)
Peter Welch (VT-AL)

You can vote for the candidate of your choice here. Also, if you would like to submit your candidate for the next contest you can do so here.
