Event Description:
If you can't make it to Washington DC for the demonstration
this Saturday, there will also be a local demonstration on
Saturday in Chapel Hill at 1 pm on MLK Ave (former Airport
Road) in front of the United Church of Christ. Wes Hare is
organizing the demonstration to take place after a morning
workshop at the Church.

Dr. Susan Thistlethwaite, of the United Church of Christ and
President of Chicago Theological Seminary will be leading the
workshop. It's from 10am till 12 noon, and is titled,
"Practice Peacemaking." Call the United Church of Chapel
Hill (www.unitedchurch.org) ph # 919 942-3540, if you want to
attend. It is followed by a $5 lunch @ noon.

After the lunch, Wes Hare is planning a sidewalk action in front of the church
@ MLK,Jr Dr, to "Stop the War" and "Impeach Bush," which should
