Are RW lunatics planning a violent confrontation in Greensboro, NC this Saturday?

Cindy Sheehan will be coming to Greensboro on Saturday, and this hasn't escaped the notice of the mentally disturbed pro-war contingent:

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan is scheduled to speak at a demonstration in downtown Greensboro on April 21st.

Sheehan will speak at noon at Phill G. McDonald Plaza as part of a day of anti-war protests that will include marches from the North Carolina A-and-T and U-N-C Greensboro areas.

Attention Southeast Regional/State Reps and All EAGLES:

Eagles need to Soar and Gather! Notice is short, but the need to Rally the Troops and be �IN THEIR FACE� is necessary.

Bring personal signs/posters of support, American flags, and a lot of Motivation. OUR TROOPS AND AMERICA WILL HEAR US!

the number of attendees down. BUT all the more reason to come out and support US:) They are a minority fringe fanaticl group spreading lies and making threats.
Best to just ignore them, and let them do their own thing while we do ours.
If there is ANY trouble alert the police, perhaps take pictures but do not engage them.

2. It not only seems like they are planning for it....

it almost seems as if the N&R are encouraging it. They way they describe it you would swear it was a pro-war rally which we were protesting! Liberal media my butt.

Protesters stay peaceful during anti-war rally

Traitor!" a man in a leather biker vest screamed into a megaphone Saturday afternoon on one side of Greene Street.

On the other side of the street, an anti-war demonstrator shouted back: "I have three Bronze Stars! How much combat have you seen?"

"I dropped many a bomb on Vietnam," said Cam McQuaid, 63, a retired Air Force pilot from Chapel Hill. "And I wake up crying about it now."

"I am truly here to support our troops by bringing them home now," said McQuaid, who also rides with Rolling Thunder.
