WHERE: Faith Community Church, 417 Arlington St.

Charlotte. Speakers will be Debra Sweet, National Director of The World Can't Wait
and Linda Barnes, Grass Roots Impeachment Movement (GRIM). There will be
brief presentations from the speakers and plenty of discussion from the
floor.
This is a time to strategize on building the growing impeachment
movement. Come prepared to get more involved.

Hey folks--

I am glad to be able to share with you the great news that Cindy Sheehan is returning to Greensboro. Yes, she's back in action (though reports of her "retirement" were mostly mis-representations of what she called "shutting down the factory, retooling, and coming back stronger"). She's on an east coast march from Crawford TX to DC, stopping in NC in both Charlotte and Greensboro. Impeachment is VERY much on the agenda, as you may have read this week in her challenge to Nancy "Impeachment is off the table" Pelosi.

Here are the details, as we know them so far:

Cindy has been invited to speak at Bennett College (specific venue TBA) by the Student Government Association at 6:15pm Wednesday, July 18th. We're also super excited and incredibly lucky that she will be joined by Rev. Lennox Yearwood, founder of the Hip Hop Caucus and Debra Sweet, national director of The World Can't Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime.

This is of course a major event for Greensboro that three national anti-war, pro-impeachment leaders will be in Greensboro. We need to TURN OUT IN BIG NUMBERS for this event.
