Daniel Johnson, a former Hickory resident who lost both legs trying to save a fellow sailor in 1999, said he's considering a run next year against Republican 10th District U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry.

Now an assistant district attorney in Wake County, Johnson, a Democrat, said he's thinking about moving back to the 10th District to run for Congress ...
