Official Annoucement - Jean Herendeen Ackerman For State Representative

Jean Herendeen Ackerman will announce her candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Statehouse from Ohio’s 21st district. The 21st district encompasses Worthington, Minerva Park, Northland, and sections of Westerville and Dublin.

The announcement will be held on January 12, 2006 at 12:00PM in the lobby of the Worthington Community Center.

This is a district that is very competitive as it went for John Kerry in 2004 with 52%. The current representative, Linda Reidelbach, who was barely reelected in 2004, has decided not to seek reelection, so this seat will be very much in play this year.

Have heard Reidelbach was a real arch conservative. Jean has a good start on her web site. She's making a good effort to understand the issues.

Calling Linda Reidelbach an arch conservative is like calling a hurricane windy. It's true, but it doesn't quite cut it.
