What? No posts on Emmanuel Onunwor?
The Mayor of East Cleveland, who, a few years ago, changed his affiliation from a Democrat to Republican.

His reasoning? He felt that (as a black mayor!) changing to the Republican party would make it more favorable for him to bring money into East Cleveland.

Guess so. Yesterday, he was convicted of various crimes, including accepting bribes.

My thought was that he switched sides so that when his corruption came out, he would just get a slap on the wrist.

Wonder if the mayor of Youngstown is paying close attention . . .

That's some dedication to eliminating corruption...he chose to consolidate it.
