How does Ohio stop Blackwell from cheating ?

The only problem is Blackwell is also secretary of State and in charge of the election. Sooooooooooo anything can happen. I won't trust the results if he wins.:banghead:

1. Absentee Voting

Some of the most effective strategies for discouraging the vote in 2004 -- insufficient machines at urban and university polling locations, denying provisional ballots to minority voters, etc. -- can now be avoided by using the more-liberal absentee voting provisions. This also avoids the potential problem of using Diebold voting machines.

It will be very important to get as many Democrats as possible to 'vote early' and to spend election day doing GOTV for the more marginal voters.

Bet yer ass the Repukes are planning this same strategy.

This has been the best initiative I've seen for dealing with voter fraud. People try to get away with a lot less if you are watching them and let them know you are watching them.

poll worker are a good first start..however, the only people that can still stop the cheating are a bunch of folk with those judicial robes on who declare that Diebold machines, ES&S machines, and whoever damn else will not give you a paper printout that you can put in a box "just in case" and to "audit the machines" unconstitutional because their flaws by design compromise the right of Ohioans to fairly and confidently cast their votes for the candidate of their choosing.
