There site is super-slow, and I had to try multiple times to get to the page. They must be getting slammed.

I looked through some of the threads yesterday about this, and I remember someone saying that federal law states that you can't disqualify an application due to errors in the form that do not affect the determination of whether someone is eligable to vote. (sorry - don't have time to go back and look for it).

Anyway, it sounds like what Blackwell is trying to do is illegal. I don't think he will get away with it, except that counties may be throwing these pesky applications away right now.

OTOH - I am concerned about the counties having to hire extra people, etc. to process these applications. Does anyone know if the counties have to pay for this alone?

Need to get a letter off to Blackwell too
