to go during the election? Remember the last one where the African Americans waited hours to get into a one or two room voting place and the wealthy whites walked right in and voted? I don't think it would be hard to find this out and remedy it if need be.

Also if it is hot and they have to stand in line, (which they shouldn't) can someone provide water for them?

I don't know who is the head of the Democratic elections in Ohio since I'm in Florida but we don't want to see the same bullshit that happened last election happen again.

1. One thing I can say is you are not from Ohio...
To suggest that it will be hot November 4 in Ohio seems a little far fetched. Global warming has not reached that point yet here in Ohio. More than likely it will be cool and if it rains it will be a miserable day as was the case for the general election in 2004.

In Warren County Ohio each precinct gets four regular voting booths and one voting machine for use by disabled individuals. In a pinch the extra voting machine can be used if there are long lines. I am assuming that is how it works in all of the counties but I could be mistaken.

The Secretary of State is Jennifer Brunner who is a Democrat. She replaced Ken Blackwell (R) in 2007. It would be appreciated if you are going to post in the Ohio forum to at least look up the basic information concerning Ohio, such as who is the SOS.

The biggest concern facing Ohio is the republicans caging voters in minority communities. Since the Ohio Democratic Party is are aware of this situation I can only hope that there will be observers in place to counter this issue. There is also a long standing restraining order in Ohio that requires republicans to inform the court if they plan on caging in minority communities, not that they will follow the court order.
