Biden was terrific in Wooster, Ohio, yesterday evening.
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 04:04 AM by poli speak
here is a local link summarizing the event:

4500 people showed up to a small college campus located in a small city of a little less than 25,000. Amazing. I still don't understand where everyone parked.

Amazing.

I am editing because I now read from emails from local organizers that this was the largest attended event for Biden, without Obama, to date in this campaign. Wow.

3. The Canton event today (Thurs Sept 18) is scheduled to start 9:30 a.m.
but look what I found: a slide show of sort on Obama's website about the event yesterday:

Also learned yesterday that Wayne County can boast the first Barn for Obama in Ohio. Saw a picture but haven't seen a link yet.

6. Will he be attending the Ted Strickland Birthday Celebration?
It is in Lucasville on Saturday. I'm driving from Pittsburgh tomorrow to get there in hopes to see Biden or Obama. No formal announcement but heck, this close to the election with Ohio having the best Governor in the US......, Well I'll take my chances it will be a good party worth the drive.

8. I heard on NPR this afternoon that Ted Strickland and Chris Redfern
were accompanying Mr. Biden on the two-day tour, which theoretically would have ended today, but it looks like they might be in Athens tomorrow. Check it out on the Obama for America website:

Have fun!

9. Thanks for posting the story
Sounds like a great rally. And Wayne County is a very Republican county.

Way to go, College of Wooster!!!! :applause:
