It was completely unexpected, but other people also said they weren't asked to attend until the day of the event.

I got to meet Jesse Jackson. That was a total thrill. He gave me the look you give a crazy person, but I think I caught him off guard.

Having been to a lot of rallys and protests this year, it was especially difficult to keep quiet. I wasn't alone though. The microphones couldn't pick it up, but there was a distinct rumble in the back rows when Cheney tried to say U.S. casualties were only 40% of the total.

Edwards was really great. Most of my pictures didn't turn out good because I was so jittery, I guess. I have to learn how to manually focus! LOL!

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. Last week was CRAZY and playing hooky from work put me behind for a little while.

I think people felt stifled, so they weren't making much noise. We were so close together, too.

I was afraid John wasn't getting enough positive feedback, so I yelled out and probably over compensated as is my way. ;)

If it was that obvious, that's probably why Jesse Jackson looked at me funny. LOL!
