Informal Hackett poll in Cincinnati...
I spoke to five older African American men downtown and not one knew there was a special election on Aug. 2. All were very happy to be informed of the fact and all expressed an interest in voting for Hackett. This is our most reliably democratic voting group.

Who is willing to ride shot gun with me this weekend driving around democratic precincts in Cincinnati with Hackett signs all over my car getting the word out?

1. But are they in the 2nd District?
If I am correct, I believe much of Cincinnati, especially the inner city is in the 1st District, which is represented by Steve Chabot (R)

2. How do I find out where the boundaries are? I know Chabot recently got
a whiter demographic to help him stay competitive.

3. Try checking the Secretary of State website
http://www.sos.oh.us/sos

Even though Blackwell is Secretary of State, the general election information, including district maps, is on the website.

11. from the wiki

The Hamilton County muncipalities of Sharonville, Blue Ash, Deer Park, Loveland, Madeira, Newtown, Terrace Park, and Indian Hill were in the district, along with eastern parts of Cincinnati. Anderson and Symmes Townships and part of Sycamore Township are also in the district.
