Note on Repuke Mayor Don Robart, Cuyahoga Falls - starts 20th year

(And, of course, the Repukes were crying about how Akron Mayor Dem Don Plusquallic was in power too long - they started the same day)

Robart won re-election, and was saying, in the press conference, about the revitalization of the business area of Route 8 - lost Montgomery Ward (dept. store) a few years back, is a bunch of iffy small shops. Quick loan places, thrift stores, hole-in-the-wall shops which might not be there next month.

Yeah, Robart, you haven't really done anything to revitalize the businesses there already (in your previous 19 years), whaddaya gonna do? Give more tax breaks? That's the MO of Repukes, right?

1. I can't believe this guy won by so much.

The Democrat, Hummell, is a nice lady and would have made a better mayor. What has Robart done that is worth voting him in again and again? So what he brought Bush to the Natatorium across from the High School. Who cares? I voted for Hummell for mayor. Hey at least the school levy passed.
