Stephanie is a close friend of mine. We hail from working several Ohio campaigns and she is my Veterinarian. She founded the informative, political Ohio website, "Wake-Up Ohio". The bi-monthly newsletter was/is the greatest communication tool for activist around Ohio.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

I have decided to resign my position as Wake Up Ohio’s Communications Director. Elizabeth Motter will be assuming my position. Elizabeth is anxious to get started and we are confident she will serve our constituency well!


My decision to leave Wake Up Ohio was a very difficult one to make. I consider Wake Up Ohio “my baby” and am very proud of our accomplishments. The last event we held – The Donahue/Goodman Media Forum was the best to date. Over 650 participants and an incredible exchange of information and ideas.

The reason I am leaving Wake Up Ohio is that I have decided to run for Congress in Ohio’s Third District against Mike Turner. Congressional 3 was traditionally a Democratic Seat (Tony Hall) until it was gerrymandered to allow Mike Turner to take it. This will be a very tough fight!

Some good news: Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas have decided to contribute the maximum to my primary campaign.

At a minimum her site needs to state her platform, furnish some background, why she would be right for the job, perhaps some pics, etc etc.
