Howard Dean to Address Oklahoma Democratic Party Convention

Washington, DC -- Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean
will give the keynote address during the first General Session of the
2007 Oklahoma Democratic Party State Convention on Saturday, May 19th at
the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center in Oklahoma City.

Dean will highlight the success of the DNC’s 50 State Strategy in the
Democratic victories across the county last November, including the
reelection of Governor Brad Henry and the election of Lieutenant
Governor Jari Askins. He will also thank grassroots activists for their
support, highlight the Democratic Party’s agenda, and outline the
Party’s plan for keeping its majority and taking back the White House
in 2008.
