Anyone interested in a "Dr Strangelove" viewing party next weekend?

I've decided to celebrate our return to the fifties with a timely DVD or two and a brewski or five. I'm thinking Dr. Strangelove, Atomic Cafe, and Grave of the Fireflies, although I'm open to other suitably apocalyptic cinematic suggestions. Let's revisit Halloween, the scarey way. Dress up as your favorite psychopathic politician, if you like.

PM me if you're in a sufficiently nihilistic mood and in/around Portland. It'll probably occur Saturday evening, near five-ish, and wrap around midnight.

I've always wanted to get together with other DUers who lived close by...That day, however, I have to help my dad with his car and I'll be out in Oregon City (CCC) til the afternoon sometime(I'm not sure how late yet) so I'll have to think about it... I'll PM you later this week.

I was thinking of bringing along my 50s b-movie video "Invasion U.S.A."

Looks like with the holidays starting next week might have to wait until January? That would be ok, it's a bleak month and a good time for doing things inside...
