Shout out to Medford/Central Point at the Kerry Rally.
We'll be looking for you.

And a great rally tomorrow morning to my fellow Portlanders.

1. Okay, caught a few seconds of the Jackson Country rally
I'm glad they got you folks into a shaded area down there - 101 degrees is something.

Anyway, you looked great, as did our next President.

4. John Kerry Country
I have just come down from an incredible day. We went to the rally site at 2:00 and didn't make it out of the parking lot until 8:00. The open-sided arena, which is supposed to have a capacity of 7,000, was overflowing out into the adjacent lawn area. The thermometers near the arena and in our car read 103 degrees at 2:00 and even though the Kerry contingent arrived an hour late, the place exploded when they arrived. A few days ago Cheney was in town and proclaimed southern Oregon Bush-Cheney country. What was he thinking? As a life long resident of the Rogue Valley I have never seen anything like this for any candidate and this is supposed to be the most conservative part of the state.

The feeble anti-Kerry protests were pathetic and the protesters had to be totally dismayed at the never-ending stream of cars and the noise from the arena.

I was left with two thoughts' Today I saw a president and this election is going to be decided by the people.
