I am related to someone who is about to start up a business and will be looking for some help later in the summer. It will be a good opportunity for several people with customer service and waitstaff experience plus Internet skills. Portland based. $12-$15 per hour with opportunity for very good benefits if things go well with expansion.

This is just a heads up for now. I'd like to make jobs happen for some DU-ers when the time comes. Check back later for more info. Or you can PM me if you want to just give me a yo. I can't release any particulars because it's extremely innovative and the trademark application hasn't been filed yet.

But it's coming.

2. would you like to PM me?
Just give me the briefest summary of what you have done. Something like this:

"Worked as waitstaff at McMenamin's for four years. No degree, but college courses in history and business. Interests include microbreweries, film noir, coffee."

Just something real brief. We are getting closer to launch and will need to begin recruiting soon. This is going to be an Internet venture that will go viral, we are told. It isn't sales, it isn't anything icky. The opportunity for growth and promotion and benefits will come in 2010, according to projections.

This goes for anyone reading this located in PDX who is looking for work. The location will be SE.
