1. Oh, what sad news this is!

I read about the 405 accident in which a 52-year-old woman was killed, but no name was listed. Since I do all this online, until this minute I did not know it was Heidi. I always enjoyed her on KPAM, and subsequently on KPOJ with Thom Hartmann. After Carl Wolfson came on board, I sensed a certain amount of tension between Carl and Heidi (never knew why), and then one day she was gone. No explanations, no clue as to what happened, she was just outa there. I went on a website devoted to her departure, but no answers were forthcoming. Heard her on OPB a time or two, and as always was glad for her professional reporting.

RIP, Heidi. You shall be missed!

2. I didn't like the way KPOJ handled letting her go

Sad that her life ended too soon. When I read the news, I gasped. When you let radio personalities into your home, it's like they become family. She was a family member even though I had never met her.

RIP Heidi.

I hated the way she read the news. She couldn't read any copy without flubbing it. But I liked her, was said when she exited KPOJ.
