I think that trip to Jacksonville/Medford was a PR nightmare. It made him look too much like Nixon.

5. We got a call a couple of days ago.

My husband, a registered republican, took great pleasure in telling them that * "would not have his support this year."

I think the K/E sign in the yard has also detered a lot of repub canvassers. }(

7. Oregon was never in play

I know that some of you have thought otherwise, and I'm not disrespecting you- but Bush never had a chance here from the get go. It's great that the GOP deluded themselves (they're good at that) and that Bush came to the state- spent a ton of money and raised a ruckus- all for naught... I think that maybe his unpopularity will have some coattails. We'll at least get the Oregon Senate back.

I have seen contradicting figures, as usual I guess--was just curious if there was a quasi-official fake figure.
