PoliticsPA: GOP recruits Former Marine Corps Colonel to run against Rep. Patrick Murphy (PA-8)

PoliticsPA.com has learned that Thomas Manion, a former Marine Corps Colonel from Doylestown whose son was recently KIA in Iraq, is being recruited to run against Congressman Patrick Murphy. Rumor has it that state Reps. Scott Petri and Gene Digirolamo are also considering a run.

2. Patrick Murphy - Most Successful Fundraiser in House
There was a newspaper article about a week ago saying that Murphy was the most successful fundraiser in the last quarter among House members. That amazing for a freshman - usually the big money goes to the chairs of the committees on banking, appropriations, etc.
