1. He is working for Single-Payer Healthcare & was in Pittsburgh today at the DNC Platform Committee...

...meeting along with John Conyers, Donna Smith from SiCKO, State Senator Jim Ferlo, and others.

They were successful in getting a plank for healthcare for all into the DNC National Platform that represents a wise compromise by proponents of two leading healthcare proposals.

4. More rumbles about Chris Mathews
I was watching PCN and Governor Rendell was stumping for some of his economic revitalization projects. There was a Q&A held afterwards, and he was asked about Mathews and running for Senate. He talked openly about it, basically saying that Chris likely would be the democratic frontrunner based on name recognition, but that Mathews had to make a lifestyle choice relative to a fairly easy and well paid media job vs a tougher job in politics.
