"Concert for Change" (Dem. rally) in Lancaster Thursday, Aug. 26.

If you're in Lancaster, PA, that day, come to the rally and show ultra-conservative Lancaster County how many Democrats/Kerry-Edwards supporters there are!

The rally/concert is in Lancaster Square (Queen Street will be closed off in that block) from 5:30-9 p.m. There will be bands, food, lots of enthusiastic Democrats, and short speeches by state and local Dem. candidates.

Sponsored by Lancaster County Democratic Committee and the Lancaster Kerry Meetup.

if I can work out the child-care arrangements. MD's a lock for Kerry so I figure I'll 'report for duty' in southern PA.

We're trying to get the biggest Democratic crowd in Lancaster that this place has seen in years -- maybe even the biggest Demo. crowd since John Kennedy visited in 1960!

When you're a liberal in Lancaster County (though Lancaster City is Dem-heavy) you're made to feel like a Salem Witch Trial victim -- like you have to hide in your root cellar or something.

Well, we're not hiding anymore! The Kerry signs are sprouting everywhere, as are the bumper stickers. We will be silent no longer!
